Rewards- Social Studies
I think it's unfair for the people who don't work hard to be rewarded the sames as people who do work hard because, they are not doing anything. Also, it seems like the people who do work hard, are working for nothing. We can write down the names of the people who do work hard.

Mood/Poetry
Song: Mad
The mood of this song is sadness. I know because in the song, it says that because in the song, "I cant sleep through the pain". Also, in the song he says "fighting for nothing" and "crying for nothing". I think that this person wrote the song with this mood because maybe the person is sad and going through something like that.

Bronx Masquerade #1
I think that the book "Bronx Masquerade" was was good and interesting, because everybody wrote a little about themselves and a poem each. I can relate Raul Ramfrez to a friend of mines because both are caring and think of others. Raul Ramfrez doesn't care about the money, he just wants to be a painter. My favorite character has to be Chankara Troupe because she is independent and isn't afraid. She doesn't want to be like her sister, who gets beaten. She stood up for herself. Also, her poem was deep. My least favorite character is Tyrome because he doesn't believe that he will live for a while and will not get a future. I do believe that he can have a futur. He just have to go for it.

Poem Reflection Red Cross
Poem- Red Cross
An inference that I can make about this poem is that the girl doesn't at first understands Ms. Fisher until the end. A word that can best describe what the poet is feeling is sadness, because Ms. Fisher is a woman who is homeless and suffers. And at the end she never wakes up again. I think the meaning of this poem is to tell readers about how hard and difficult life can be. I do not connect to this poem because I never went through something like that. But if I put myself in the characters position, then I realize how the character was feeling and what she was going through.

8th grade State Math Test
I think I am not ready to take the 8th grade State Math Test yet because I feel that there are some things left that I need to go over. I have been preparing for the test in March, by going over my work in my math notebook. Also practicing every week. Hopefully, I do good on the State Math Exam!
"Transformations"-Conclusion
I did enjoy this unit that was about Transformations. You can apply transformations in real life. For example, Rotation is one transformation. When you are doing rotations, you must know about clockwise and counterclockwise, which is like a clock. A clock can go clockwise and counter clockwise. Moreover, Reflection is another transformation. Reflection is like a mirror, since it is reflecting. Therefore, you can apply transformations in real life.
