When we are given the words," one is twice as larger as the other" we know what the first angle is because we know that the angle is twice as large as the other. If it said "one is five degrees bigger than the other " than it would look like one of the angles are five degrees larger than the other angle. We know when to assign a variable to something when we don't know a number, we then use a variable for the unknown. Since corresponding angles are congruent, they are vertical angles since congruent means same and vertical angles are the same measure.
Congruent means the same, So vertical angles are congruent. Supplementary angles are not congruent since they measure up to 180 degrees. Two angles cannot be both supplementary and corresponding because supplementary angles are not congruent and equal to 180 degrees, and corresponding angles are congruent and are the same. Two angles can be both vertical and corresponding because both vertical and corresponding are alike since they both are congruent. Four angles that are formed by a line and a transversal equal to 360 degrees. This is always the case because since their are four angles formed by a line and a transversal, and if you add the measure up, it would equal to 360 degrees.
Hi Rotceh
ReplyDeleteyour post is really good but when when you were explaining what those two expression means,it would have been a good idea if you added an example, Other than that it was really good
hi i love you posting but i think it would have been good if you had put an example for the two expression
